Once upon a time, the summer before I was wed, I sent a certain email to my Husband to be.

Last night, at about 2:00am I rolled over in my bed and adjusted my pillows. when I put my head down to once again enjoy sleep, i felt something tingle my arm then it hurt as if someone had just shanked me. I sat up real quick and sleepily rubbed the affected area. I sat there whimpering while wondering what could have just happened. I grabbed my phone to use as a light. I opened the phone to allow the light to burst out upon a scorpion. I quickly used my phone as a murdering device and cried openly. I didn't only cry becasue I was in pain or because a little scorpion had just ruined my night. I cried because it was indeed a scorpion. It could have killed me and I live with them. I then continued to cry because of my situation and out of desperation for a place to go to sleep. I packed a few things and started driving at 2:30. I called Lynnette and told her that I was coming and I would explain when I got there. When I arrived, I explained that my face was swollen due to crying and that I had been stung. I then slept in her room after much comfort from her. The point is. I was stung and am now uncomfortable sleeping [where I was]. I don't know what to do. I wanted to call you soooo bad but I know that you are sick and need your rest plus I don't know what you would have been able to do other than comfort me... which is a big thing but I needed a place to sleep. love ya lots lins

I really like considerate people
They make me smile and be happy.
Today at work, we had an Exam and X-rays on a new patient. This patient called before their appointment and let us know that they would be about 20 minutes late and wanted to know if they should just reschedule or still come.
That was so nice to let us know that they would be late.
On the 16th, Goodlooking and I went to the Auto Expo at the Southtowne Expo Centre. It was amazing fun and I recomend anyone to go to it. If you have kids, you are single, going on a date, married, grandmas can go, people not buying cars, people buying cars, Omish even. We got to sit in cars, touch cars, push buttons, and not be hassled by sales people. We saw plenty of children playing in the cars so all mommy and daddys, its ok to take them to an auto expo. It was really nice to go because we have a much better idea of what car we will eventually be investing in.
ALSO, at the end, they had my dream car. The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, which runs about $160,000. A beautiful monster of a vehicle. Oh, it is soooo beautiful. This beauty was not one of the cars that you could touch, let alone sit in, but, I touched it. If you don't believe me, I can prove it because I took a picture of the smear my fingers made when I snuck a feel.
So, If you have the opportunity one day to go to one, you should.

GUESTS: To gain admittance, all guests must show an official Village Towne Landing Guest ID at the front gate. ID applications may be filled out at the management office between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursday of every month except March and October. The ID fee is $75 and includes a criminal background check, credit history report, Homeland Security background check, drug screening, employment verification, and college transcript report. IDs should be issued within three weeks of application. To ensure the security of our residents, Village Towne Landing security officers have instructions to shoot unauthorized guests on sight. PARKING: All residents are entitled to park in the main lot free of charge. Any vehicle occupying the same space for more than three consecutive hours will be assumed to be abandoned, and chopped up and sold for parts by Village Towne Landing management. Guests are not permitted to park on the premises and are strongly discouraged from bringing their own vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation.
CONTRABAND: Any resident found in possession of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, firearms, pornography, spray paint, gang-related clothing, foods with excessive trans fats, or a refurbished Sandisk Sansa Clip 1GB MP3 Player will be evicted and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. As some of these items are easily concealed, particularly the ultra-compact Sandisk Clip, your rental agreement includes consent for body-cavity searches at the discretion of Village Towne Landing management. Christmas Adventures
As most of you lovely readers know, we went to Arizona for Christmas. It was nice to run around in light clothing and not need a scarf or heavy jacket wherever I went.
Goodlooking left on Friday after his last final. He got to sit on the plane for a long time before it took off and he got to listen to twin babies screaming for most of the time. He went to Gila Valley and watched his amazing sisters play in the Christmas tournament in which they both were named to the All Tournament team (which means three of the best players from each team that played in the tournament).
I then joined him on Monday and we went to Tucson. We enjoyed being with my family and going to an official movie (with movie tickets and everything) at my sisters house. We enjoyed getting everyone together for a family picture (the first one in over 5 years). The last one is so old that only my big brother is married and a lot has happened in 5 years.
We had a really great Christmas Eve then we drove to Gila Valley to spend Christmas morning at Goodlookings place. We opened stockings then went back to bed. After everyone was up and dressed, we ate a delicious breakfast and opened gifts. They got a Wii as a family (which we spent a lot of time enjoying). Goodlooking and I got a homemade in woodshop framed picture of the Snowflake Temple (where we got married) and there is not desert in the background. We had been trying to find one without desert but they found it and we really like it.
For Goodlookings birthday, we went four wheeling with his parents in the desert. For his birthday dinner he always has homemade chicken noodle soup and crescents and lemon meringue pie for dessert. This year we were in charge of the crescents and we had fun and did exactly what the recipe says.

5 things about me
1. When I sleep, the sheets have to be just right and I get upset with Goodlooking if he messes them up. I get annoyed when the bottom fitted sheet gets wrinkled. It needs to be pulled tight around the corners. I like the flat sheet to be slightly longer than the top so I can fold it over the comforter. Also, I don’t like the sheet to be tucked into the end of the bed (which makes all the other qualifications harder to accomplish).
2. I hate being late, and what’s worse is when someone else is late. At my work, it is important to be on time because if you are late that puts everyone, including me, behind schedule. If you are going to be even 4 minutes late to an appointment, you really need to call. It is common courtesy. Most of the time (only at work), I would rather someone call and reschedule than be 10 minutes late (unless there is no one after you but how would you know).
3. I don’t like talking on the phone. I would much rather talk to you face to face (unless it is something confrontational, in that case I will take the phone). I have a need to see your facial expressions and that way I can tell what your really think. Also, I don’t like leaving messages so don’t feel too bad if I don’t leave one. Just call me back.
4. I get overly excited about things and I count down the days to pretty much anything.
5. I really don’t like it when people whisper around me. It makes me feel like they are talking about me so I get really self conscience. I kind of upsets me and I have to know what people are talking about.

Random things to update with
It seems like every year the Christmas music comes earlier and earlier and that the stores start putting out their Christmas stuff early. This year, I think they both crossed the line. It seems like Thanksgiving is being forgotten by both. I, however waited till after Thanksgiving to put up the tree and listen to the carols.
I think I get more excited about the holidays now that I am married, because it means I get to escape the Provo bubble and visit family whether it be in Idaho, Tucson, Pima, or even Mapleton. This year, Goodlooking and I get to go to Arizona to see both of our family homes.
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Goodlooking and I went up to Idaho and stayed and grandma's. We ate at Karen's and played games. Small Parcel, Grandma, and I made candy and we got to have fajitas on Sunday before coming home.
One of my favorite Christmas was last year. We (Goodlooking and I) went to Arizona and stayed the first few days in Tucson. Christmas Eve, we played Wii with my little brother till about 3 in the A.M. when we started our long treck to Bryce. Then we surprised Goodlooking's family by being there earlier than breakfast. It was really fun to experience Christmas morning with the Bryce’s. We all opened stockings together then went back to bed. Then we had breakfast and it was all a lot of fun.
So, I just requested my math110 final so I can take it and have this math behind me hopefully for good. It has been a long journey full of tears, guessing, frustrations, and hours in the library. I think (and the website tracks this) I spent a total of 150 hours working on this stupid thing (does not include all the time spent thinking about how dumb math really is (come on imaginary numbers… are you kidding me?!))
Also, I am thinking about (and probably am going to) taking public speech online next. I think it will be fun and somewhat hard. I like the idea because for the speeches, I just have to send in a tape recording of my speech… which is better than having to dress up and get in front of a bunch of people I don’t know. This shouldn’t bother me at all because I was in theatre for two years doing monologues, duo scenes and full on two act plays and one musical.
